It is sometimes possible to deal with a curved set of stairs by using a hinged platform. This platform drops down to create a  false “landing” around the stairlift footplate, which bridges the gap across the turn to the proper landing.

This option is not available for everyone and you as the client will be carefully assessed for your suitability. Your safety is paramount.
